Free Community Events

Friday, November 3: 4-6pm / 7-9pm @ Various Locations

Summit meetings will end at 3:00 p.m. on November 3 to enable Summit attendees to also attend the free Community Outreach Events. These events will be held at various locations in the Salt Lake City area and Utah Valley on Friday afternoon and evening, November 3. These free events are open to the public.

The purpose of these events is to bring the energy of the summit and the Positive DigCit Movement to the public, and to give people in local communities a chance to interact with Summit attendees to understand better what this Movement is about. We especially want parents to feel the hope and excitement that comes when focusing on working with kids to use tech for good. Of course we have to protect kids from harm, but we can and should also explore and experience  the potential good that can be done when digital technologies are used deliberately with a focus on helping others.

Please see below for a list of events.

If you are coming to the Summit, please let us know if you are willing to help volunteer. We will need ushers, meet-and-greeters, and social media sharers at these events. Email info@digcitsummit2017.com if you are interested in getting involved.
