The $99 early-bird registration will include lunches and break foods/beverages for both days. Thanks to generous sponsors, we have free registrations available for students and discounted registrations for parents, educators, and members of Utah School Community Councils responsible for the HB213 Digital Citizenship mandate.
Please also note that registration for a Summit ticket or attendance at any of the free public activities implies consent to be included in photographs and/or videos that may be taken at these events. The purpose of this event is to build energy and excitement around positive digital use, and we will be using digital media to share that energy and excitement!

MEETINGS: DigCitSummit meetings will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 and from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 3 at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, UT.
FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS: The Summit also includes several free community events on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon/evening. (See next question.) We hope Summit attendees will plan to participate in these community events. This is where the rubber will really meet the road as attendees interact with and share excitement and energy from the Summit and the Positive DigCit Movement with the public.
Both of the evening events are free.
Thursday evening (Nov. 2) is the free Youth Extravaganza at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, UT.
Friday evening (Nov. 3) there will be various free community events all over the valley. Please visit Free Community Events to view the updated schedule of events.
Please register for those events using the register button even if you are unable to attend the actual Summit.
Thursday evening (November 2) from 7-9 p.m. is the free Youth Extravaganza at the Utah Valley Convention Center. This event will be the highlight of the Summit! Youth will be showcasing various ways that they #UseTech4Good through live presentations, video, and booth displays. See some examples of what Positive Digital Citizenship can look like.
Friday afternoon/evening (November 3, 4-6 p.m. / 7-9 p.m.) there will be various free Community Outreach events all over the valley (e.g., Magna, Downtown Salt Lake City, South Jordan, Sandy, Provo). The purpose of these events is to bring a little of the energy of Summit to local citizens, and to give Summit attendees a chance to interact with the public...all with the intent to expand conversations around kids and tech to include the positive. More information about each of these Community Outreach events will be coming after September 1. Promotional Materials: All attendees are invited to bring their own promotional materials or pamphlets to share with others. We will provide a special materials table for these items to be displayed. We will not have the typical product booths.

Summit meetings and the Thursday evening Youth Extravaganza will be held in the Convention Center.

Lodging: We have multiple hotel blocks reserved, including a variety of price point options. Space for each block is limited, so make your reservations early!

We are excited to have youth involved in this Summit! Attendees at the meetings must be at least 10 years old. All out-of-state minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the Summit. In-state minors under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the meetings. Waivers for all minors must also be signed by a parent or legal guardian in order for them to attend or participate. Email email@example.com for a copy of the waiver.
Your ticket (if purchased before October 10) will include food and drinks throughout the day. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the event center.
We encourage social media sharing throughout this event, but will ask that you come ready to plug into the participatory activities and use breaks for work needs.
You may receive a full refund prior to Oct. 1, 2017. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund. This is a non-profit event, solely supported by donations and ticket fees. We appreciate your understanding that we will be using these fees to cover the costs of hosting this event.
You may check in at the door using your printed ticket, the pdf attachment on your phone, the Eventbrite App QR Code, or the Apple Wallet QR Code.
Yes. We only ask that you please either transfer your ticket to them or update your registration information to reflect the name of the person who will be attending in your place. We are seeking to create a community "where everybody knows your name" (Cheers theme song).
